			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>How frustrating is it, when you bust your butt for a few weeks, training hard and sticking to your diet, and your fat doesnâ??t seem to budge. It seems as though it doesnâ??t want to get burnt off. Why is that? Why is fat so stubborn and hard to lose? The very answers to these questions will hopefully make your fat loss journey a lot easier. To first understand why fat is so stubborn; we must know why it is stored on our bodies in the first place. The main reason why it is stored on our bodies is to prepare for times of starvation. It is our back up energy supply for when food is scarce. This was hardwired into our DNA thousands of years ago, when cavemen would have to survive days or even weeks grazing on whatever they could find until they made a kill.The body is reluctant to use up its fat stores because it is our last ditch chance at survival when food is in shortage. Problem is, dieting only makes this worse. The caloric restriction that comes with dieting makes our body fat even more stubborn. This is because it doesnâ??t know how long this period of food shortage is going to last for. So it is going to go out of its way to maintain its fat stores as long as possible. The body then goes to extreme measures and breaks down muscle tissue to use as energy instead. This results in a loss of muscle, a slower metabolism and therefore makes fat loss even tougher.So how then do we make our body want to lose fat?Itâ??s actually quite simple. Eat more. You see if the body sees that there is an abundance of calories coming in, it will think that it is pointless storing all this fat. It will then feel a lot safer at using up the fat stores for energy. Exactly what we want!However, to successfully lose fat, we have to eat a calorie deficit. So to make the body feel a lot safer at using your fat stores, I recommend 3 solutions.- Eat only slightly less total calories then you need a day. Cutting calories too far will only make our body fat stubborn. Just be patient. A good number would be to eat 15 calories per pound of bodyweight a day.- Have a 1-2 cheat meals a week. Overeating once or twice a week, will again show your body that there is plenty of calories coming in, and there is no reason to panic. &#8211; Burn a calorie deficit with exercise. Performing short, intense exercise is the best way to lose fat. It boosts our metabolism, and actually stimulates hormones that actually make our body want to get rid of our excess fat. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When I was just a youngster in my twenties, I desperately wanted to gain muscle mass. Like many guys at that age, I longed to have big arms, wide shoulders, powerful and sweeping thighs, and a V-shape that tapered down to a small waist.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, that&#8217;s not how I looked. When I glance at old pictures, it appears that I was fooling myself into believing I looked less like the Pillsbury Doughboy than I really did. </p>
<p>What was wrong? I pumped iron, downed high quantities of protein, ingested carbs during the so-called &#8220;two-hour window&#8221; after my workout. And most importantly in my mind; I kept my calorie intake high because all the available information said I needed to &#8220;bulk up&#8221;  – to eat many more calories than I was burning so I could gain that desired muscle mass. </p>
<p>Now in my forties, I’m easily gaining natural muscle that I longed for twenty years ago. Not only that, I’m doing it while staying lean. Just recently, I decided to lean down even further – getting my body fat down in the mid-single digits. I was actually gaining strength and muscle while doing it.</p>
<p>How can that be? We’re told over and over that in order to gain muscle size, we need to eat a lot. Oh… and if you have a “fast metabolism” (i.e. blessed with really low body fat), they’ll tell you to turn yourself into a gorging pig because that’s the magic bullet for “getting big”… right? Well, that will get you “big”, but not with the kind of size that helps you land dates on Saturday night.</p>
<p>The fast metabolism people are being told to eat a lot more calories than they burn so they can gain muscle. They are assured by their muscle building gurus that they’ll go to a different phase after they’ve gained the muscle; a phase in which they’ll burn the fat.</p>
<p>Those with unwanted body fat are being told they’ll need to focus on losing the fat before they can gain any appreciable muscle. It’s said that the restrictive diet they’ll need to adhere to will prevent them from gaining muscle size.</p>
<p>So here’s a quiz question: If the skinny person can’t gain muscle without eating a lot of excess calories and the fat person got fat by eating excess calories, how is the former fat person ever going to gain muscle without gaining back fat and how is the skinny person going to lose fat once he’s “bulked up” without ending up skinny again? Maybe someone’s feeding us something other than food.</p>
<p>The answer: Fat and muscle are completely different tissues sitting side-by-side on the body. Don’t confuse the method by which one is gained or lost with how the other one is. If you’re slender and you shovel down truckloads of extra calories while inadvertently missing the ideal muscle breakdown/recuperation ratio, you’ll just end up fat.</p>
<p>Here’s a question for the “fast metabolism group”. Have you ever followed the advice of bodybuilding experts and didn’t gain the muscle you expected? You know the advice I’m talking about; eat A LOT of food, train “HEAVY” (relative term – how about “make heavy weights into light ones”?), use big compound exercises, try to sit on your ass as much as possible, and uh… set your alarm to go off in the middle of your sleep so you can chug some 2AM whey protein. Ugh… I don’t know about you, but you’ll never pull me out of a good night’s sleep just to force down some chalky powder.</p>
<p>Would you like to know what doing tons of compound exercises, forced reps, three, four and five-day splits and eating a lot of calories did for me? It turned me from a slim guy into a fat guy. When it was time to lose the fat, the muscle gains were disappointing. Anyone who’s been to my website can attest; whatever muscle was lying dormant under my body fat – it didn’t amount to much.</p>
<p>So the big question: How did I recently gain strength and muscle size while getting super lean?</p>
<p>I did it by eating slightly more protein than usual. I used 45 minutes of low-intensity cardio work to burn fat as soon as I got up in the morning.</p>
<p>Above all, I made sure my muscles continued to be trained and recuperated at the ideal ratio and in my unorthodox manner. That’s what’s more important than adhering to some precise caloric regimen.</p>
<p>I’ll never again listen to anyone who claims you can only do one or the other; you CAN gain muscle and lose fat (or remain lean) simultaneously.  </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Why are we overweight?  Well its definitely not because we don&#8217;t exercise but the core reason is because we eat the wrong foods, the wrong types of calories, at the wrong times of day.  This may sound odd but suspend disbelief a little: nothing else has worked maybe this can. I believe this idea will change the way you think about dieting.  It did for me.<br />
Food is the fuel in your engine!  It truly has the power to make you slim or fat.  Have you ever heard of the saying &#8220;You are what you eat&#8221;.  Well for it to be really accurate you have to expand the saying so it becomes &#8220;You are what, when and how you eat&#8221;.<br />
What you eat and when you eat it has a very powerful effect on your body.  Together they can have a more decisive effect than any prescription weight loss pill.  Your engine to be efficient really only needs certain foods at certain times, and if you don&#8217;t eat the right foods at the right times then calorie burning will be slowed to a crawl and they&#8217;ll be stored as fat tissue.  This may sound counter-intuitive but eating more often (a.k.a. grazing) is a key factor in losing fat.<br />
So the idea is that can SLIM down by eating the RIGHT FOODS at the RIGHT INTERVALS.<br />
The Old Ways (which I have tried and failed with):<br />
- Low Calorie Diets. You can&#8217;t lose weight by starving yourself because your metabolism will sense the drop in calories and it will then adjust itself by burning less calories a day.  It&#8217;s a survival mechanism  Frustratingly it&#8217;s why you can starve yourself on 1,000 calories a day and not lose weight while your friend can happily eat 3,000 calories a day and not gain an ounce.<br />
- Low fat diets? Well have you noticed to that there is practically a &#8220;no fat or low fat&#8221; version of everything in the food store&#8230;and yet (and I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;m talking about just me here) we keep getting fatter&#8230;despite this &#8220;low fat&#8221; help.<br />
- Low carb diets have been immensely popular but they can be very restrictive. Some deny you a large apple when you start or let you eat out normally.  As a result they tend to leave you feeling fed up and discouraged and as an aside (I know from experience) can give you horribly bad breath.<br />
I was amazed when I found this system.  It&#8217;s different from anything I&#8217;d ever seen.  They promise that you&#8217;ll see a change in your body in just 11 Days.  For me that was an eye catcher.  I had to forget about past dieting failures for a moment and think WHAT IF it was really possible to change your body in 11 days?<br />
So what is their (2 part) Secret?<br />
1) FOOD IS NOT YOUR ENEMY.<br />
It is your friend!  Every time you eat your brain releases fat related hormones into your bloodstream.  There are 2 types and together they control Fat Burning and Fat Storage.  However the really important fact is that these 2 hormones are controlled by the foods that you eat.  Knowing that we can manipulate the fat burning hormones with our diet!<br />
So the goal is to eat in order to manipulate these hormones so that after eating your body goes crazy producing more of the fat burning hormones and minimizing the fat storing hormones.<br />
One of the key ways to do this is to eat more than 3 times per day because that allows us to control them better. Do you find it hard to believe that eating more often could be the solution to speeding up weight loss?  Remember food is not the enemy instead think of it as the switch which can turn fat burning on and off.  If I could turn fat burning on by eating I&#8217;d eat all the time (just kidding).<br />
But sounds crazy doesn&#8217;t it? Eating more often can be the solution to weight loss.  Realize this isn&#8217;t a magic pill.  It will take effort.  You must eat the right meals in the right patterns each day (clearly eating chocolate 10 times per day wont help you get slim).<br />
However, the bottom line is that you&#8217;ll be eating MORE than 3 meals per day during the next 11 Days, you wont be hungry and after 11 days you&#8217;ll be slimmer and lighter.  What is there to lose?  I am thinking&#8230;&#8221;the weight!&#8221;<br />
2) CALORIE SHIFTING.<br />
This second part means that your body will be given different types of calories each day which will boost your metabolism and force faster fat loss.<br />
Why does this work? Well your metabolism doesn&#8217;t know how much food you&#8217;ll eat tomorrow or the next day. So it burns calories based on your previous eating habits &#8212; it assumes that you&#8217;ll continue to eat in the same general way.  However this system does the opposite of that so your body keeps burning at the higher level.  So when you change the types of calories/meals every couple of days, your metabolism burns the foods entirely and then switches to burning your fat tissue.<br />
Of course, in order for this shifting technique to work you need to eat foods which have been rated &#8220;Fat Burning Compatible&#8221; &#8212; because the foods you eat must be easy to burn. This does not mean you will be eating celery 5 times a day.  Far from it, but it does mean you can&#8217;t go on a chocolate diet.<br />
It&#8217;s a simple program that uses science but makes it soooo easy. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There is so much talk these days about how to lose fat weight.  We get bombarded on a daily basis with advertisements, magazine and newspaper articles, product marketing, and more telling us all the various ways about how to lose fat weight.  Despite what many of the ads, products, and articles may say, there is only one tried and true method that will help us to lose fat weight.  It is through diet and exercise.  And while the diet plays a major role in fat loss, exercise is a key factor in helping you to reach your weight loss goal. </p>
<p>There a two ways to exercise that will help you to get the results you want.  If you are looking to drop some pounds, applying these methods is how to lose the fat weight you want to lose.   One method involves time. If you have the time to spend multiple hours exercising through the day, the result of the calories burned over the course of that time will help you to lose fat weight. This assumes that the contribution of the calories burned helps create a overall caloric deficit. This occurs when the total calories consumed in a day are less than those that were burned and used as energy by your body.   </p>
<p>Exercising in this manner doesn&#8217;t require a high level of intensity.  Keeping your heart rate at 55% to 65% of its maximum qualifies as low intensity.  Maintaining a low intensity effort yet performing the exercise for an extended period of time will use primarily fat stores as an energy source.  Your goal should be to burn 300 to 500 calories per workout depending on your diet.  Accomplishing that total caloric burn using this method would take approximately 3 to 4 hours, and possibly a little more depending on how much you limit your intensity level.   </p>
<p>The second, and sometimes more preferred method of exercising to lose fat weight is to increase the level of intensity of the workout.  Doing so abbreviates the amount of time that is necessary to workout in order to achieve the desired goal caloric burn.  A high intensity workout would typically be one where the heart rate is approximately 70% to 80% or more of  maximum during the exercise.  A workout at this effort would cut the necessary exercise time essentially in half.  The energy sources used in this type of workout are carbohydrate and fat stores.    </p>
<p>One thing to remember is that no matter which energy source is used as fuel for the body to workout, it still takes burning 3500 calories to lose one pound of fat.  So regardless of the energy source used, it still requires that specific amount of caloric deficit to lose one pound of fat weight.    Following a good diet and applying these two principles of exercise is the real answer to how to lose fat weight </p>
